I think these feelings are going to be hard for me to overcome throughout this course. I am really interested in hearing what tomorrow's speaker about the Arminian Genocide has to share with us. I know this course is going to teach me a lot. I hope that maybe we can all learn how to possibly change things, or at the very least, make people more aware that Genocide has not stopped since the Holocaust.

Genocide sickens me. I know that is probably a cliche thing to say, and possibly even redundant, but it is true. I can't get over the fact that people can hate each other and oppress each other in such way that they do. I understand that we are all different. We speak different languages than each other, have different views and opinions when it comes to religion, politics and other controversial things. What right does that give us all to hate on each other so much? Is it so impossible for people to just understand each other's differences and accept them?

Your passion and concern for humanity is evident in the words you write. I am curious of your impressions of Anais Salibian's time in our class.
